If you want to enter the world of freediving in a unique environment like the Montgrí Natural Park, the Medes Islands, and the Baix Ter, the PADI Freediver course is the best choice. This course consists of three parts: theory, confined water, and open water.
The theoretical part is online and can be completed at your own pace from home. This part will help you understand the basic concepts of freediving and the physiological processes that occur in our body during the practice of this discipline. During the course, we will review the concepts in the classroom.
The second part takes place in the pool and includes a breathing session, a static breath-hold session, and a dynamic freediving session. You will learn to relax and control your breathing, as well as the proper technique to optimize oxygen consumption. The goal of these sessions is to achieve a 90-second static breath-hold and a 25-meter dynamic apnea.
Finally, we will conduct two open water freediving sessions in the sea where you will begin deep freediving with the disciplines of free immersion and constant weight. The goal of these sessions is to reach a minimum depth of 10 meters.
REQUIREMENTS: minimum age of 12 years. Must be able to swim. No previous freediving experience required.
TOTAL DURATION: 2-3 days.
TOTAL PRICE: 325,00 euros. Full equipment included in the activity.
At the end of the course PADI Freediver, we will give you the Freediver Certification, which will allow you to conduct freediving sessions in both confined and open water.
To book the course and receive the theory, you must pay the theoretical part (€100) with a credit card on our website:MAKE YOUR BOOKING - (unisub.es)
